P.E. Society’s Modern High School is the platform to mould young students into a “cadet.” “One year” initiation to aviation is a one year course for the students of Std. VIII. Students are exposed to different areas of science of aircraft, spacecraft and aeromodelling.

The main intention of the club is to develop the personality of the students and upgrade the knowledge in different fields such as defence. The sessions were divided into three different activities and the resource persons who came to teach the students were highly professional and experienced in their work. Classroom teaching commenced with one to one in-house regular faculty and further the classroom sessions continued with group discussions, public speaking audio-video visuals of aviation world.

In personality development students were taught different qualities like public speaking, character building, team efforts and other etiquettes. The aero modelling session was aboost for students to increase their knowledge in aircraft and the history of aircrafts.

Section of rockets was again one of the interesting and very exciting session where models were made, discussed about the mechanism and the functioning of various parts of the aircraft.

Modern Aviation Club not only stresses on classroom activities but also emphasises on outdoor visits. To make the students know about the real world certain visits are arranged. National Defence Academy, Pune visit was an experience which will always be cherished. The students witnessed the passing of parade, campus view and Science Exhibition. The students were very excited and enjoyed every moment of it.

The visit to College of Military Engineering, Pune was an inspiring to each an every student. The role of engineers in the Army was well explained, bridging as apart of Army and view of the cadet mess was a mesmerising.

The new batch 2024-25 began in the month of July with the session of Personality Development by Mr. Anand Parchure. This year too we were very fortunate to have Retd. Air Vice Marshal R. D. Limaye Sir as one of the resource persons to guide our students. Due to his guidance students got insight in the various aspects of Aviation. They got knowledge of different aircraft sessions. MAC is incomplete without the introduction of aero modeller Mr. Pujari Sir.

The Modern Aviation Club is always thankful for the continuous guidance of our Director of Club Prof.Dr. P. G. Dixit SirJoint Director of Club Adv.C.G.Ghate Sir and Secretary of Club Mrs. Vaishali Pimpalkhare madam who always encourages us to run the club with great enthusiasm and determination.
